The Sun Movie Club Review
Britain's best selling newspaper has teamed up with up and coming DVD rental service provider My Movie Stream to offer the ultimate home DVD rental service. As with the latter, joining the Sun Movie Club sees you able to select DVDs from a growing collection of over 40,000 titles, and qualify for same day dispatch if your order is placed before 3pm on a weekday.
The Sun Movie Club website also boasts an easy to use and intuitive website, with a solid search engine conducting searches on a Title/Actor/Director basis, so whatever you type into the engine, The Sun Movie Club will sort results accordingly.
After selecting the films you want to watch, you arranged them in the MyList wishlist section, and there are no late fees or charges associated with changing or cancelling your subscription package. Additionally, The Sun Movie Club allows you to put your account on hold temporarily, for up to 60 days if you are going away on holiday.
The Sun Movie Club run with four subscription packages in total, two of which are Unlimited, which allow to you keep up to 3 DVDs at home at a time, and the other two which operated on a Limited (or Fixed, as they say) basis. Whilst the packages from The Sun Movie Cub might not allow you to rent out as many discs per month as My Movie Stream (who offer up to 6 on an Unlimited package) their subscription rates are cheaper, allowing customers who would only want to keep hold of 2 or 3 discs at a time to save money each month.
The Sun Movie Club is currently allowing new customers who sign up the opportunity to try out the service for 2 weeks. This applies to all of the packages, and provided that you cancel your subscription within the 2 week period, doesn't cost a penny.
