I have tried both services and there are pro’s and con’s.
Lovefilm pro: very fast turn around with mailing films out, ie. return dvd, post monday, by wednesday same week new film through letter box.
Lovefilm con: Can’t rent Universal titles.

Blockbuster pro: slightly cheaper and can rent Universal titles.
Blockbuster con: slow turn around for dvd’s, return dvd, post monday, you might get a new dvd buy thursday or friday.
So you decide which is best value for money!

Hopefully we shall start adding more reviews more frequently to the site. We have already begun to add Game reviews so hopefully we shall be just as informative with them as we are with our DVD reviews, both of which shall be updated more frequently now.

A brief but thorough list of rental companies. Although I have never signed up for one, it was interesting to read what they had on offer. No surprises that Tesco has entered the market.

I’ve used LoveFilm for a couple of years now and it’s mainly been a good experience.

However something that really does bug me, especially the longer I use it, is the continuing spat with Universal that means LoveFilm does not rent their films (2009+ releases). So be aware of this before signing up.
